Half Time Etiquette

·     During half- time the home team cheerleading squad should go over to the opposing teams sideline, cheer and invite the cheerleaders of that team to the Home teams sideline to perform.

  • Half time is short, so please only use 3-mins.
  • Then allow the other team to use their 3-mins.
  • Coaches please meet and welcome other team coaches.
  • Please coordinate with the other teams coach to be clear as to procedure.
  • Keep in mind some coaches are new to this and try to be supportive.
  • When you are the home team coach please share the rules of your field with the   visiting team.
  •  Be polite to the other team when it is their turn to cheer during half time.
  •  Please remember that we are all here to support the children.
